MEETINGS

King Pacific Lodge features a meeting room with a capacity of up to 30 guests, theatre-style. The game room is ideal for informal meetings, breakout meetings and reviews for corporate clients. It can be converted to an executive boardroom or small meeting room with a capacity of 20. In addition, the Princess Royal Suite offers groups who have booked the entire lodge an additional, intimate meeting room and lounge.

The lodge is equipped with high-speed satellite-based Internet access as well as a satellite telephone system for convenient communication with the office and home or for Internet-based presentations.

CORPORATE ADVENTURES

Experience the dynamics of an outdoor adventure. King Pacific Lodge is the perfect setting for an incentive trip allowing you to build strong relationships between members of your corporation and your clients. King Pacific Lodge offers hiking, fishing, GPS navigating, kayaking and other challenging activities. Led by expert facilitators and guides, the emphasis is on learning by experience in an environment that places everyone on an equal footing. All activities are tailored to suit the physical makeup of the group -- suitable for all guests from absolute novice to experienced adventurer.

Our goal is to break down inhibitions and build team spirit. Success depends on a high level of team cohesiveness, communication and decision-making skills. Our adventure programs will not only challenge one's self physically and mentally but will also be exiting and fun. We stress the importance of the individual's contribution to the team. Our aim is to develop individuals and improve effectiveness of the working dynamics and relationships within your business environment.

Activities

Campania Island Eco-Challenge

Objective: Participants complete course & collect objects at the end of each leg
Number of Participants: 2 teams of 5 including 1 guide
Activities: hiking, canoeing & kayaking
Difficulty: moderate-difficult; a certain level of fitness is needed
Total Distance: approx. 10 kilometers
Duration: a full day with dinner on the beach or at the lodge
Resources: 3 canoes; kayaks (4 single/1 double), helicopter time; boats to get to the island; beach picnic necessities
Aside from Campania Island, we are able to set-up a number of single- or multiple-day courses from beginner to expert levels of difficulties.

KPL Triple Crown

Objective: teams of 2 or 4 attempt to gather as many points in each event to determine an overall team champion
Number of Participants: unlimited
Activities: fishing derby in which participants must set their own gear and catch fish; kayaing around Borde Island; shuffle board; frisby; golf; beach volleyball game
Difficulty: easy-moderate
Duration: a full day or 2 days using fishing derby as a full day
Resources: boats & fishing gear, kayaks & gear, volleyball net & ball or remote control boats or trucks

KPL Photo Safari

Objective: species identification while exploring Princess Royal Island & area
Number of Participants: unlimited
Activities: teams or individuals capture as many species of animals, birds or marine mammals as possible using a digital camera, identify various species using a guidebook & present to the rest of the group
Difficulty: moderate-difficult
Total Distance: within reasonable distance to the lodge using boats or kayaks
Duration: 1 or 2 days
Resources: canoes, kayaks, boats, digital cameras, guide books, TV & computers

3 Summits on 3 Islands

Objective: Teams work as quickly as possible to reach the summit of the mountains in order to complete a task such as capture a flag, answer a question or build a cairn. Also can add orienteering using compasses or GPS along the trail
Number of Participants: 3 teams of 4 with a guide
Activities: hiking, scrambling to summits on 3 different islands
Difficulty: moderate-difficult; high level of physical fitness needed
Total Distance: summits range from 1500-3000 ft. in elevation
Duration: 3 days or just 1 day & 1 summit
Resources: boats, hiking boots, stopwatches & flags

Guide for a Day

Objective: Participants work together to distinguish a leader and assign
tasks to work as a team to catch, clean & prepare fish
Number of Participants: varying sizes of teams
(ex: 2 guests catch fish, 2 clean fish & 2 prepare fish)
Activities: fishing, cleaning fish, cooking & preparing fish; judging done on a team basis
Difficulty: easy
Duration: a half-day of fishing with a second day cooking & preparing
Resources: boats & gear; kitchen & cooking supplies
Teams can change tasks daily so all members can participate. Judging is based on size of fish, time it takes to be caught, cleaning of fish, preparing & serving.
